Junior / Mid-Level Designer

We’re looking for a passionate, full-time creative to join our team.

Younts Design, Inc. (YDI) is a Baltimore-based graphic design studio specializing in branding and experiential design. We collaborate with clients across the country in industries including sports, hospitality, real estate development, retail, and non-profit. As part of our small but mighty creative team, you’ll contribute to projects of all sizes — from concept through execution — helping to shape environments and experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design engaging branding, signage, wayfinding systems, and environmental graphics
• Contribute to concept development through mood boards, sketches, and mockups
• Prepare production-ready files and specifications for vendors and fabricators
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, site walks, and group critiques
• Research and source imagery, materials, and inspiration to support project concepts
• Work independently to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Provide creative and technical support to senior designers and project managers
• Assist in quality control by reviewing proofs, samples, and installations
• Stay up to date on design trends, materials, and fabrication techniques
• Occasionally support social media or marketing efforts with visuals and content

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
• Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent typography, layout, and composition abilities
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Interest in experiential graphic design a plus
• Experience with SketchUp or other 3D rendering software a plus
• Familiarity with production processes, materials, and signage fabrication a plus
