YDI has been proud to work with Doors Open since their inception in 2014. This year for their tenth anniversary, we refreshed their primary mark while also creating a standalone “D” and an associated 10-year lockup, which both incorporate an interior shadow that turns negative space into a welcoming, open doorway. An illustration of Baltimore’s inner harbor in the brand palette anchors the project to our waterfront home, and adorns the cover of this year’s pocket guide to the festival.

Doors Open is an annual city-wide festival that honors the diversity of Baltimore’s many vibrant neighborhoods, and for years has been a valuable client who shares our passion for the city we both call home. Each year, their open houses and guided tours give a deeper glimpse into the distinctive spaces that contribute to the Charm of Charm City. YDI continues to update Doors Open’s branding materials so that they can create unique merchandise and attract attention to their mission.
