The Everly building features illuminated identity signage designed by YDI, mounted to a raceway above its main entrance. As with all of the residential buildings at the Stacks, YDI strove to seamlessly incorporate signage into the exterior architecture.
Exterior directional signs are built from high-end, sturdy materials to withstand the elements. Consistent typography carries through from ADA signage within the building, and panels help guide residents to the Everly’s many amenities.
Simple ADA sign panels, constructed of premium materials, allow the playfulness of these expressive glyphs to take the main focus. YDI took inspiration from Everly’s brand illustrations and designed an extended family of glyphs for interior signage to fit its look and feel.
Interior directionals and Unit ID signs use a similar stacked construction to ADA signage, but an expanded scale for maximum visibility. Consistent use of materials, structure, and typography gives common spaces in the Everly a unified aesthetic.
